Shorter times like 1 minute or 30 seconds often don’t provide sufficient exposure to inactivate many pathogens, while 60 minutes is longer than typical label directions and impractical for routine sanitizing. If the surface dries before the dwell time ends, the disinfection process may not be effective, so you should reapply and keep it wet for the full 10 minutes as directed, then follow the label for rinsing or air-drying as required.
